Jake is currently the Prepress Department Manager and oversees both the structural design team and graphics team. He has been with Wingate Packaging since 2013.
His experience in food grade packaging extends to aluminum beverage cans and injection/blow molding.
Jake studied mechanical engineering and Manufacturing Technologies at Terra Community College in Fremont, Ohio.
His experience operating Die cutting equipment and working as a machinist put Jake into a structural design position in the prepress department at Wingate Packaging. Once there, while utilizing his CAD skills for the structural design of packaging, Jake broadened his horizons into the art/science of printing by taking online classes from Michigan State University’s School of Packaging.
